Wet snow back in the forecast

Well I was hoping to tell you not to expect any snow arriving tomorrow evening, after all it is March, but the storm track appears to be in a Goldilocks position, making landfall to our SW (OR/CA border) to send bands of moisture our way while not scouring out enough of the cold air still flowing in from the north.  An elevation event for sure and light easterly winds that would have a drying effect are expected to turn southerly upon arrival of moisture, allowing for near full precip potential.  Not a direct hit by any means, but the potential to get messy.
For a base-case scenario I'm expecting 1-3" of wet snow @ elevations 500-1,500 ft in the Cascade foothills beginning 3-6pm Wed through overnight.
If the storm track comes in just a bit further north than expected, that should bring with it enough warm air aloft to keep the snow only in the mountains.
Will update again tomorrow

Update 3/6 1:45 pm...
Not seeing much change in the pattern so I'll stick with my base scenario calling for 1-3" of wet snow for foothills. Chance of snow showers lingers through Friday, but I don't see a reason to expect more snow in total at this point given intermittent precipitation. We dry out again this weekend, but highs not likely to get out of the 40's. Still not seeing a notable warm up, at least out to next Tues.

Update 3/7 3:07 pm...
A lot of shower activity still on the radar. We will lower those snow levels again tonight but models only expecting foothills to receive trace-1" Thurs evening through Friday morning. Should then dry out for at least the weekend. Extended shows a cold rain (or worse) returning Tuesday, but I hate looking out that far.

Hearing some in the weather community getting excited about NOAA's latest 8-14 day outlook showing warmer than normal average temps for the PNW. Wouldn't that be nice? Just know those outlooks have been no better than a coin toss lately. The end of January run showed a warmer mid-February😂😨 Here's to hoping though🤞
